Hello and welcome to the weekend! Woot Woot! Today starts Photo Week over at JUST US GIRLS! Maria is your hostess this week and she's picked this fun summery scene as your inspiration! Here's how I interpreted it:
As you can see, the gingham print and watermelon caught my eye and that's what I went with. My watermelon slice was made from die cutting 3 circles, adhering them together and cutting in half. Then I took a small wonky flower die to the edge and die cut to make it look like the slice had a bite in it! I hand drew the seeds with a black marker.
So how does this picture inspire you? We'd love to see - just link up your card or project at Just Us Girls. While there, please check out what the girls and our June GD, Ros Crawford, have come up with! Fabulous creations, seriously! Remember, if you are picked as Chic of the Week for any of our June challenges, you'll be in the running for our Guest Designer for the month of August! Good luck and thanks for stopping by!
