You may think that I would have gone with the obvious and used a bunch of circles and at least one elephant on my card. But nooooo, not me. I'm a rebel that way! LOL! I did use the colors though. That's what I was inspired by looking at this pic. See what I mean?
Here's the inside:
I don't own any pink ink pads, so I simply did some second generation stamping with a red ink pad. Wah-la! Pink ink! It seems like all I've been making the last couple of months are holiday themed cards, so it was a nice change of pace to actually get back to making birthday cards. Good thing too. My stash of birthday cards is sadly lacking. ☺
I hope you find some time between taking advantage of all those after Christmas steals and deals to play along! LOL! Just link up your card or project at Just of Girls! We want to see it! While there, please check out the projects my teammates, and our December Guest Designer, Lee Ann Barrett, have created for your viewing pleasure. Remember that if you are picked as Chic of the Week for any of our challenges in December, you'll be in the running for our Guest Designer for February! How cool is that?!
Thanks for hanging out and I hope you have a great day. Stay crafty, my friends!
Chris

ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear there is another rebel in the stamping world, Chris! While I did go with the circles, I managed to get a boy card out of pink, white, and gray, LOL! This is such a great CAS card and that sentiment is made for your collage of images! Thanks so much for having me as a guest DT; I was honored and had a blast!
