A musical birthday card

Hello and happy Friday to you!
I'm back with another birthday card.
Earlier this year I made at least 5 panels
using this technique by Gina K. This is the
last panel to be used.

I cut the guitar from red cardstock and used a black marker
to color the neck, bridge and bolts. The pickguard was cut
from black cardstock with a shimmer to it.
The sentiment was white heat embossed onto black cardstock.
And now I have a dude card for my stash!

AAA Birthday challenge #79 is a music themed challenge, so
I am entering this card there.

That's it for now. Thank you so much for visiting.
I hope that you have a great rest of your day!

Hooray It's Your Birthday!

 Hello and welcome!
It's been kind of a ghost town here lately, as I've been
busy making my annual Christmas cards. Now that I got
that done, I've switched to some much needed
birthday cards. Here's one:

I love to use collection kits that have a sticker sheet included. It takes
the guess work out of trying to match totally unrelated items together.
I wanted a really thin matte around the main panel, so I traced
around the die and fussy cut it. The panel is adhered with foam squares.

Another simple sentiment finishes the inside:

My card is based off of this fabulous sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #712.

That's it for now. Thanks for visiting, and I hope you have a great day!

Stamps: Honey Bee Stamps - Mini Messages: Birthday, Inside Birthday
Ink: Memento - Tuxedo Black

CS: Taylored Expressions; Neenah; Cardstock Warehouse

This month, we want to see projects that feature DRINKS!
Now, as most of my sisters did, they went the
alcoholic beverage route, but not me:

(Shameless plug.)

I used a sentiment from one of my own STAMPlorations stamp sets, Hot Mess.
I paired it with the Wonky Stitched Grid Texture Plate, along with
the Zen Coffee Cup Layering dies. I had made a panel smooshed with
Picked Raspberry and Mustard Seed DOX ages ago, and used that
to cut out the detail coffee cup die.

I hope that you get a chance this month to play along in our Drinks challenge at the
