True friends...

Hello and Happy New Year! This is my first post of the new year. I hope your holidays were fabulous! We drove home to be with family and friends in Illinois and Wisconsin. It was truly a very merry Christmas! (coming back with colds didn't even put a damper on it!) After spending a few days not doing anything, ahem, I finally got back into my craft room and made this card using Sweet Sunday Sketch #201:

Here is the inside:

using this sketch:

I inked up a stamp I've had for a few months, but never used until now. My best friend and I both adore Anne of Green Gables and I bought this set specifically with her in mind. If you've ever watched the movies, Anne says "kindred spirits" at least a gazillion times, so of course the inside was custom made using it! LOL!

Thanks for hanging out with me for a bit. I hope you get the chance to play along with this challenge - Karen's sketches are so wonderful to work with! Stay crafty my peeps!

Stamps: Kraftin Kimmie - Anne of Green Gables
Ink: Memento - Tuxedo Black; Ranger DI - Antique Linen
DP: MME - Collectable
CS: Darice (white); Bazzill (blue)
Accessories: Grand Calibur, Std. Lg & Sm Circle Nesties; Spectrum Noir markers; inside sentiment printed from Microsoft Word

Super cute image and fabulously coloured. don't you just love KK stamps, I really need to get more (I only have two both Christmas ones) Kraftin; Kimmie stamps are about 45 miles from me and I only have two so sad. Love the sketch and you did a great job with it.

What a terrific Anne image and so perfectly coloured! Warms my otherwise snowed-in Canuck heart. :)

oh em gee, I love it! I always loved Anne (see, another reason you have to come visit...PEI isn't far away & you wouldn't believe how awesome it is to walk through Green Gables!!!) LOVE this card & that sentiment!

adding pinterest script 3. Changing the Position of the Pin it! button The cool thing about this code is that you have some freedom over where the Pinterest button for Blogger will go over the image. Take a look at the code that you just copied and pasted into the HTML for the word 'center'.
