Paper Players #748, Seize the Birthday #310, Just Us Girls #785

 Hello and welcome!
I just realized I haven't posted here in almost a month.
July was a busy month for us, what with everyday life,
the constant battle of weeding this lovely
bermuda grass out of the flower beds and veggie garden, (and with
the intense heat wave it's been slow going), and
one of my sisters flew out to visit us for 10 days.
We even took a mini trip to the beach!
First time in two years. It was heavenly!

So now I am back in my craft room, trying to
get the mojo going again. I combined a
few challenges to make this card:

I love aqua/teal/turquoise colors so that's what I
used on my card.

Seize the Birthday #310 challenges us to use our favorite
color, and I paired that with the sketch at
The Paper Players #748. Since I used a stencil on
the card base, I'm also linking this up

That's all I got for now. Thank you so much for visiting!
I hope you have a great rest of your day!

Let's Celebrate

 Hello crafty friends and welcome!
I'm still trying to make a dent in my NBUS pile.
This time, I've finally opened up a paper collection
that I bought a couple years ago from Photo Scraps store. Sadly,
they closed their brick-and-mortar store, but Tracy still has an
online shop that you can order custom papers from!  I cut into
one of the 12" x 12" papers for this card:

The heartbeat lines with the word 'wine' in it just cracks me up!

Here's the inside:

I've used the current sketch at Atlantic Hearts for my card,
and since I've finally cut into some new paper, I'll enter
this at Seize the Birthday also.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope that you have a great day!

Demo Day to Go at Photo Scraps!

Hi all! Just wanted to pop in to let you know that I will have two
card kits available for purchase tomorrow at Photo Scraps in
Eldersburg, Maryland!
Here are the cards I've made:

The brick layer uses a stencil from My Favorite Things, along
with the showstopper mug of beer. I've used a
DecoArt Snow Writer to create the foam. So fun!
That background paper is custom paper by Tracy. She has created
some amazing papers for sale in the store. Go see for yourself!

Everything is stamped, ink blended, and cut to size. All you
have to do is assemble yourself using your
choice of adhesives.
This is a very versatile card. You can use it for a birthday,
congratulations, Father's Day. It's all up to you!

Here's my second card:

Just look at that bear! So adorable!

You can color the image however you like, but these are
the Spectrum Noir markers I've used for this card:

Getting a head start on Christmas cards

 Happy Fri-Yay crafty friends!
I'm just popping in with a card or two that I made yesterday.

Here's the inside:

I know, it's kind of CAS for me. This was my second attempt at
creating this card. I originally used a circle die and I didn't like
how it looked at all. Then I thought, what about snowflake dies?
Major lightbulb moment. LOL!
For reference, here's the first card:

See what I mean? But now I have two Christmas cards made,
so there's that. :)
Both sentiments were stamped in purple ink to complete the
rainbow. Thankfully, I had enough R stickers to complete
the second card!

Well, since we were "gifted" with another 5" of snow overnight,
guess I'll just stay put and make some more cards. :)

Thanks for visiting!

I'd like to enter this at:

background paper, but feel free to color the image however you want:

Tip: a grid mat is your friend when placing the half circle pieces, but
not necessary. Just so long as they are no less than 1/4" in from the edges,
you'll be good to go.

SHOPPING OUR STASH #434 - Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Hello friends and welcome!

The new challenge starts today at

SHOPPING OUR STASH,

and as I'm sure you've guessed, we would like to see

snow in some form on your projects!

Here's what I came up with:

and the inside:

I bought this gorgeous snowflake tree stamp at least a year ago, and

I'm only inking it up now. (For Shame!)

I first stamped and heat embossed it in white EP. Then I sprinkled

Magenta Nuance powder dyes in Cerulean Blue and Purple and

used a water mister on it. The hardest part is setting it aside to dry

on it's own. Once it was, I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed

it in white also. To ground the tree, I simply drew some 'land' with a white Gelly Roll pen.

Since I had the items out, I made another panel!

This one uses Violet and Raspberry powder inks:

and the inside:

I hope that you can find time to play along this fortnight in our

snow challenge at Shopping Our Stash!

For more ideas, do check out what my teammies created

for your viewing pleasure. Thanks for visiting.

I hope that you have a great day!
