And now for an interactive card

 Hello crafty friends and welcome!
I wanted to share an interactive card
using a new-to-me die from Lawn Fawn,
called the Peekaboo Pop Up die:

I pretty much cased a card made by Jennifer McGuire
using what I had in my stash. And yes, this was the first card
of this kind I made. (Hey, go big or go home! LOL!)
Using the ingenious die, when you pull on both sides
of the card, a fun thing happens:

Here's a little video of it in action:

I was so excited that I got this to actually work, that I
forgot to take a picture of the back of the card,
where I added an additional sentiment. LOL!
I used a mouse from a Christmas set to make it look
like it was throwing the ball over the dog's head. 😁

I made this for one of my grand nephews, who just
turned 5 years old! Happy Birthday (again) Luca! 💕

That's all for now. There's a certain doggie
in our household that is in need of a brushing,
and so I'm off to do that.
Thanks for visiting. I hope you have a great day today!

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #233 F is for Flowers

Hello and welcome, snarky peeps!
It's time once again for the new challenge at the
This fortnight is all about flowers!
Pretty self explanatory, I think. Here's what I
came up with:

This card was too pretty to snark up. I die cut the pansy pieces out of
white card stock, then used different inks to blend the colors.
To bring out the fine lines of the petals and leaves, I used
Prismacolor pencils to trace over them.

Here's the inside:

I actually made this the beginning of last month, as this
is the card I sent to my Sistah Barbara for her birthday.
(I'm so glad that you liked it! 💖)

So now it's your turn! Create a project that features a flower
or more and link it up at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers.

Cheers, Chick!

 Hello crafty friends and welcome!
I made a card that combines a few challenges
and I'd like to share it:

It looks rather CAS for me, but there's actually 5 layers on this, not
including the card base. I've used DP from a collection that
looks like alcohol ink blends. I cut a strip for the diagonal element,
as well as using more to fussy cut the wine in the glass. I used
a red marker to darken the 'surface' of the wine. The
tiny bunch of grapes came with the same stamp set as the
wine glass, and I colored it with Prismacolor pencils.

I didn't want to hide that gorgeous strip of paper, so I cut
the circle element from vellum.
A couple stamped sentiments and a bit more of
the same DP on the inside finishes my card.

That's it for now. We've had a nice run of beautiful days, and
so I'm going out to enjoy the day.
Thanks for visiting!

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #232 Z is for Zodiac

Hello and welcome back, snarky peeps!
are back with another challenge. Possibly even a tough one:
Z is for Zodiac!
I'm not gonna lie, this one was a difficult one, but I did
what I usually do when stumped on a challenge:
Look up funny memes for inspiration!
I created a water colored panel to add to my art journal:

When I saw the meme, first I thought it was funny, but then I was like,
did we gain another zodiac sign and I never noticed??
So I did some research. Lots of articles about whether
Ophiuchus is or isn't.
Anyhoo, I decided to make a water colored galaxy panel to
add to my art journal. I cut a piece of water color paper and
used four colors of Derwent Inktense Blocks.
I scribbled them onto the paper, then used a paintbrush
with water to move and blend the colors.
I did this three more times, making sure the paper was
dry between layers before starting the next.
Here are some process photos:

I mixed a bit of water to some gesso and splattered over the
panel to create my 'stars'.

Once that was dry, I trimmed the panel and glued it to my art journal.
Then I looked up what the supposed new zodiac sign of Ophiuchus
looked like, and drew it onto my page. Of course, I used
the first picture I came across, then only after I added it,
discovered there's more to the sign. (Insert facepalm here)
Well, this is an "artist's interpretation" then. LOL!

I hope that you'll join us in our Zodiac

Bunnies and a basket

 Hello and welcome crafty friends!
I have a card to share using some adorable bunnies:

I've had this stamp set for a few years, and these images
have only just been inked and colored for the first time.
What was I thinking?! LOL!
Once everything was colored, I gave the eggs and the bow
a bit of sparkle with some Nuvo glitter drops.
To ground the bunnies, I stamped the sentiment onto
green card stock to give the illusion of grass.

These bunnies are just so cute!!
That's all for now. Thank you for stopping by!
I hope that you have a great day!
