Seize the Birthday #332 - Funny/Pun-ny

 Hello crafty friends and welcome!
I have been making lots of cards but
not blogging about them, so I'm fixing
that right now. Here's one I made
at least a month ago, and I think
it fits the challenge at Seize the Birthday #332 -
Funny or Pun-ny cards:

I've had this idea to pair this sentiment with this image
for quite some time, and I finally made a card with them. LOL!

It's pretty CAS for me, but since white space
makes me cringe, I stenciled the background. 😁

Any Occasion challenge going, I'll add this there also.

Thanks for visiting. Have a great day!

Supplies:
Stamps: Viva Las Vegas Stamps - Flasher Back; STAMPlorations - Some Snark, Birthday Bash
Ink: Memento - Tuxedo Black; Taylored Expressions - Honey
CS: Spectrum Noir; Neenah
Accessories: Spectrum Noir markers; Hero Arts - Filigree Pattern stencil; MISTI
Adhesives: Scrapbook Adhesives - tape runner & foam squares

Happy Birthday, genius!

 Hello friends and welcome!
I always seem to be behind in making birthday
cards, especially dude cards. But I
did come up with this little gem:

I had this sentiment stamp set out on my desk when it
occurred to me that I had the Einstein stamp somewhere in
my collection. A snarky card was created LOL!
I thought the tweed paper was a nice touch. 😉

I already have a brother-in-law in mind for this.
Luckily, we all share a snarky sense of humor!

AAA Birthday #71 calls for a masculine card for their
current challenge, so I am entering this over there.

That's it for now. I hope that you enjoy the rest of your day and the weekend.
Thanks for visiting!

Supplies:
Stamps: Viva Las Vegas Stamps - Einstein's tongue; Taylored Expressions - The Inside Scoop: Snarky Birthday
Ink: Memento - Tuxedo Black
DP: Pebbles/Jen Hadfield - Warm & Cozy

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #246 - N is for New

(Edna in Barbie packaging! Sister Lee is brilliant!)

Hello and Happy New Year snarky peeps!
Can you believe that this is our 10th year at the
We'd like to thank everyone who has supported us by playing
along all these years!
You will notice that our format has changed this year from every two
weeks to once a month. That gives you more time to join in the fun!
Also, we have a new Sister! Please welcome
Deena! You may recognize her from Shopping Our Stash
and also a designer for the Ink Road Stamps.
Welcome aboard Deena!

For our first challenge of 2024, we want you to use something new
on your projects. Maybe you received some new crafty goodies
over the holidays. Or perhaps you have something brand
spanking new in your crafty stash that you've yet to use.
Well, now's your chance!

I took advantage of one (*cough, or four, cough*), crafty sales
over the holidays and purchased this 'Sign of the Times'
die from My Favorite Things. In my usual demented way,
I used it in a very unwholesome way:

I sent this to my sister, Laura.
Believe it or not, this is our term of endearment between
my sisters and myself! 😂
I couldn't send a card to one sister and not the other, so...

This one went to my sister Sandy. Like me, the word
fuck is widely used in her vocabulary. 😆

After I took these pictures, I thought that the cards were missing
something, so I added a bit of shading on the hands/arms, and added hearts. LOL!

So much more meaningful with the hearts!

I hope that you'll join us in our NEW challenge at the

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #230 - Y is for Yuck

Welcome snarky peeps!
The new challenge has started at the
Y is for YUCK!
Interpret this however you'd like. I'll admit I had no clue what
to do with the prompt, but as I was looking at the stamps
I had from Viva Las Vegas Stamps, I came across this
image that immediately reminded me of
Spanish Inquisitors. I printed out the sentiment
on my computer and this is what emerged:

I'm not really sure if that is an actual quote from the inquisitors,
but it sounded like something they'd say. LOL!

It's your turn to challenge yourself and create something
yuck-worthy and add it to the gallery at the
Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! Need more ideas? Simply

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #210 - F is for F Words

Hello snarky peeps and welcome!
It's time for one of our favorite challenges
F is for F Words!

Felines, fire, fabric, etc. The possibilities are endless.
Me? You guessed it. I went for my favorite cuss word:

You've been warned.

Yes, I do realize that only after I stamped all those words, that
I probably should have placed them lower on the panel so
that they'd look like they were coming out of her mouth
instead of her forehead. LOL!
Even though the lady stamp is called Banksy Wall Singer, to me she sort of
looks like Frida Kahlo screaming, so I'm adding that to my F list!

I hope that you'll join us for our F Word challenge this fortnight at the
Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! Go ahead and let your
freak flag fly! As always, snark is never mandatory to play along.

That's right, own those hot flashes like a boss and
