A Color Hues Crane

 Hello friends and welcome!
It's been almost a month since I've posted anything here.
The cobwebs are getting out of hand. LOL!
I am making lots of cards, just haven't been blogging about them.
I've been busy with life in general and also with a new venture
I'm trying out: selling my cards at my friend Joy's
new art studio! I'm very excited and nervous
to do this, but really, I'm more excited for her!

So let's get to why I'm blogging.
I wanted to play along with a couple challenges,
and this is the result of the pairing:

I just opened up the packaging on this gorgeous crane die,
that I bought at least a couple months ago. (I AM trying
to actually use all the products I buy!)

I die cut the crane from white cardstock, then used
orange and teal inks to blend the different pieces. It's
legs were blended using kraft ink.
The teal panel was splattered with some white paint
before I assembled the card.

My color palette is based on the current Color Hues challenge,
and the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.

As I mentioned, my cards will have a little home at
my friend Joy's art studio. Her grand opening is on April 12th!
Please stop by if you happen to be in the area.
Help support a new small business and support ART!

Thank you for visiting. I hope you have a great rest of your day!
