I've used the sketch from Atlantic Hearts Challenge #688,
and also the challenge prompt of Yellow/Blue/Pink at

I used two shades of yellow for the sunflowers. Most
of the foliage is dark blue with a few in kraft.

A simple sentiment finishes the inside:

STAMPlorations Anything Goes Challenge reminder

Hello and welcome!
I was hoping to post this earlier this week, but I've had both
car problems and computer problems to take
care of first. It's definitely been a Murphy's Law
kind of week for me. Sheesh!
Now that (I hope) both issues have been dealt with,
it's on to the card I made to remind you of the February

I started by trimming one of the card fronts from the
the smallest of the Luggage Tags nesting dies I stenciled over
it using the Dream Flower stencil. The sentiment is from

Mandala birthday card

Hello and good Wednesday to you!
Here's a card that took me forever to put together,
but (IMHO), it came out amazing. 😊

I hunted in my stash of stamps, and unearthed an ancient
stamp set that I only used one of the eight single rosetta images.
As I was trying to figure out what to do with the larger panel,
I remembered I had a mandala builder stamp set, so I got out
my Gina K. Wreath builder and went to work. I used red and pink inks
as well as coordinating cardstock. I white heat embossed the
sentiment on black cardstock, then after everything was
put together, added glitter drops to the centers of the
rosettas and mandala.

A simple sentiment finishes the inside:

My card is based on the sketch at Atlantic Hearts challenge #668,
and the colors at Color Hues #126.

Thanks for visiting. Have a wonderful rest of your day!

Beer is good

 Hello friends and welcome!
I had been making cards featuring birds
lately, but I needed to build up my
stash of guy cards, so I switched
from birds to beer:

Beer mugs, weathered wood paper, and a diamond plate embossing
folder certainly fit the bill for a guy card, IMHO.

A couple more sentiments finish the inside:

My card is based on Atlantic Hearts sketch #667.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope that you
have a great rest of your day!

Happiest of Birthday Wishes

 Hello crafty friends and welcome!
It's been slow going trying to chip away at
the two inches of solid ice covering our driveway,
but we've been making great headway every day.
I actually got out and did some much needed
grocery shopping today. Good thing too,
as there's another storm that's going to
hit us on Saturday.
Luckily, my mojo has been present this week,
so, I've been making cards.
Here's just one of them:

I unearthed an older die set for the fancy rectangle elements.
I even embossed the smallest die in the set instead
of die cutting a frame, because they are so ornate and
look so pretty together.

The sentiment and flowers are NBUS that I finally
cracked the packaging on.

Here's the inside:

The sketch I've used is curtesy of Atlantic Hearts Challenge #666,
and the color theme is from Color Hues Challenge #125.
Addicted to Stamps & More #509 has an any occasion
challenge, so I'll link up there also.

Thank you for visiting. I hope that you are all
surviving this stretch of bitter cold weather
we've had lately. Take care!

Happy Bird-day to you

 Hello there and welcome!
It's been a bit since I've blogged. I recently
took a trip home to Illinois to visit
family and now I'm back ready to
get creating again. (It snowed there. A few times. I shoveled.
I'm not a fan.) 😜
Here's a card I made using

Admittedly, I swapped the bird and rhinestone placements
because of the direction the bird was looking, but both
elements in the sketch are there.

Another simple sentiment finishes the inside:

I'm not sure about all that pink, but it's starting to grow
on me. LOL!

Thanks for visiting. I hope you
have a great day!

Let's Shell-abrate!

 Hello and welcome!
I'm still plugging away trying to
use my new (or new to me)
stash of crafty goodies.
(Buying craft supplies and using them are two different things.)
This card combines items from
a bunch of different companies:

The stencil, sand dollar/seahorse dies, and sentiment are all new
items. I masked around the different shells to blend
different inks for different shells. Time consuming, but
I love how it looks! For the seahorse and sand dollars,
I blended the same inks onto the same cardstock, (a beige
color, because it looks like sand! LOL!) I die cut,
then left the die cut pieces in the die to blend in the darker
colors. This reminds me of looking for shells at
my favorite happy place, Topsail Island, NC.
We just came back from a little mini vacation there,
and I'm ready to go back!

Paper Players #749 has a By the Water challenge going on, so
I'm linking up there. My card is based off the current

Seize the Birthday #308 & Atlantic Hearts #635

 Hi there and welcome!
Here's a card I created combining
a couple challenges:

I started by making a stencil by die cutting the arch from
copy paper. Then I just blended a few colors around the edges.
I die cut the vase and leaves from black cardstock and adhered
to the main panel. All that was left was to stamp
the sentiment.

Another sentiment finishes the inside:

I'm using the current sketch at Atlantic Hearts challenge #635,
and the silhouette challenge at Seize the Birthday #308.

Thanks for visiting! Enjoy your day!

Supplies:
Stamps: Honey Bee Stamps - Birthday Wishes
Ink: Taylored Expressions - Pineapple, Peapod, Cookie Monster; Memento - Tuxedo Black

Atlantic Hearts #634

 Hello and welcome crafty friends!
I've been busy in my craft room making
cards again. It's good to
have Mr. Mojo back in town. 😊

I made this card on Tuesday, but I'm only
getting around to posting about it:

I only just noticed that one of the design team members had the
same idea I did! GMTA! Wouldn't it have been bizarre
if we used the same exact piece of paper?!

Being Pride Month, I wanted to use some fun designer paper
that had rainbow colors in it. On the back side of the paper, I hand
sketched the design but mirrored it, then used scissors to cut
the pieces out. I didn't mind that they were wonky, I'm really
liking that look on this card! A white heat embossed sentiment
and some rhinestones finishes the card front.
Since I'm notorious for sending out birthday cards after
the birthday, I figured I'd own that with this
sentiment on the inside:

This card is based on the current challenge at Atlantic Hearts.

Thank for visiting and happy first day of Summer!
