SHOPPING OUR STASH #405 - Dream the Embossible Dream

Hello and welcome crafty friends!
It's the start of a new challenge at SHOPPING OUR STASH,
and this fortnight we'd like to see how you use embossing
on your projects. It can be dry embossing, heat embossing, or both.

Here's what I came up with:

and the inside:

I've used two embossing folders on my card. The first is the oval doily background,
and the second one is the snowflakes under the die cut sentiment.

Pretty simple card to make, and I liked combining the white card stock
with the silver mirror paper. I even edged the back panel with some silver ink.
The sentiment was die cut three times: twice in white card stock and then in silver
mirror. I stacked and glued them atop each other for a bit of dimension.

I hope that you can play along in our embossing challenge at
Shopping Our Stash! We'd love to see what you create. For more
ideas, do check out what the design team have made to inspire you!
Thanks for visiting. Have a great day!

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #144 G is for Gross

Hello snarky peeps!
The new challenge has started at the
G is for GROSS!
I fully embraced the theme, being the sick demented person that I am,
and created this beauty:

and the inside:

My image is courtesy of the recently back up and running Twistoon Digi Stamps,
(A.K.A. Bloobel Digi Stamps). I was delighted to see her back, as
this was the image I wanted to use for this challenge. By some miracle,
the store reopened right when I figured out what I wanted to use!
The dude is colored with Spectrum Noir markers, and the sentiment
is computer generated.

And yes, I did strategically add some Glossy Accents...

Ok, so now it's your turn to just go all out and embrace all that is gross!
We'd love to see how you interpret this in the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers
gallery. Looking for more ideas? Do check out what my Sistahs, and our
newest Queen and GD, Helen have created to gross you out! LOL!

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #143 - L is for Liquor

(I want one of all of these. Just sayin')

Hello and happy Snarky Saturday to you!
Yep, you know it. Time for  the new challenge at the

This fortnight is brought to you by all the liquor you can imbibe! LOL!

Here's my take on it:

and the inside:

This was the card I sent to my sister Laura. My sisters and I do love
a big glass of wine or three. Why the wonky cut main panel? Well, after
three big glasses of wine, that's how the world appears!
Actually, I had stamped a page full of images to color and as I colored and
cut them out, I was left with odd angles for this image, so I embraced
the wonky, like a boss. Plus you can see that awesome (and first time used)
grapes embossing folder better. *grin*

I hope that you'll join us in our yearly ode to alcohol and link up
your lushful creations at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!
