A Springy Happy Birthday

 Hello crafty peeps and welcome!
Wow, it's been a while since I've posted anything.
My husband gave me a series of books
for Christmas, and I've only started reading them
the end of February. They are so good, I can't put them down!
(The Cormoran Strike series of books by Robert Galbraith,
a.k.a J.K. Rowling)
But, I have made myself get into the craft room and
do some more card making. I've used a NBUS stamp/stencil combo
that I've had for a couple months now. Thought it
was time to break it in. LOL!

The stamp is actually the negative areas, and the stencils
are for the leaves, berries, and centers of the daisy flowers.
It's rather brilliant, and the color combos are endless!
Both the outside and inside sentiments are also NBUS,
(Never Before Used Stuff)
I die cut a few daisy flowers and colored in the centers to match
the background, and used foam squares to adhere them
and the sentiment on the front.

Here is the finished inside:

I laughed out loud when I first read this, because
it's starting to happen to me. LOL!

That's it for now. I hope that you have a wonderful day.
Thanks for visiting!

  2. This is so fun and cheerful! Love the extra cut out daisies. I had to LOL at the words inside because I've definitely turned down the music to pay attention better! Thanks so much for entering this terrific card at our spring floral challenge at Seize the Birthday.

  3. Why DO we turn down the radio so we can see better? I even did that when I was young ~ probably so I could read the street signs and not drive up on the curb because of some Fleetwood Mac song! Sorry, you took me away there for a second. Your sweet daisy card is colored and stenciled beautifully and I love the surprise of the popped-up daisies! Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
