SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #108 - X is for Xyloid

Hello and happy Saturday!
We are starting a brand new challenge at the

X is for XYLOID!

What the hell is that?
It means "something related to wood".
So, we want to see that on your projects! Simple, eh?

Here's my card:

and the inside:

I went through my ancient stash of paper and found this weathered wood
gem, dated 2004, and never cut into...until now!
I also used a die cut woodsy wreath, and a bit of snark for the sentiment.
You could go as far as saying this entire card is made of wood,
because all the paper essentially started life as trees.
(but that excuse won't fly for our challenge, so
you'd best use something else wood related on your projects
if you want that crown! LOL!)

Ready to play along? Of course you are! Just link up your wood
related project at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers so
we can admire it! Need more inspiration? Simply visit the blogs of my
Sisters, and our newest Queen and Guest Designer, Pink Unicorn,
and while there, leave some love!
Thanks for visiting. Have a great day!

  1. Only you would have pink woodgrain paper and it's fabulous. Super card, bit of snark, my idea of a gift doesn't take up much space. Love you carried the pink woodgrain through to the inside.

  2. I just love your logic, that anything made of paper counts as wood. It's along the lines of "Chocolate comes from a plant so it's one of your 5 a day". And I really adore that pink woodgrain paper, like a weathered door on a seaside ice cream parlour. Gorgeous card.

  3. Lovely paper, Chris and a super card! I'm with Jane on the whole chocolate comes from a plant thing, but I find it works better with wine being a fruit! Jo x
