SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #93 L is for Lost and Found

Hey there snarky peeps!
So I guess my Sisters and I at the
have been stumping you all with the last couple of challenges.
(But isn't that the point of a challenge?)
So hopefully with this new one: L is for Lost and Found, we
can get you to come back to the fold, as it were. LOL!
This fortnight, we challenge you to resurrect
something you used to do or use. Perhaps a technique you loved
to do, but haven't done it in years. Or maybe you bought
that "must have crafting tool" but it's been sitting neglected
in a drawer for a few years. Now is a perfect time to
try your hand at it again!
(Please be sure to let us know what your Lost and Found thing is!)

For my card, I dug in a drawer and found my Sew Easy tool.
Remember those?

I used the blanket stitch piercer around the edge of my main panel.
(Obviously, I still need to master this tool, as seen by the crappy
sewing all around, especially at the corners. LOL!)

I tried this paint swiping tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers and love it! The
image was one that I colored when I was on vacation a couple weeks ago. I really
like how the purple background makes this doggy walking faerie pop.

So, now it's your turn. Break out those long lost tools, that paper collection
you had to have and never used, that one technique you did all the time but
haven't tried in ages. We'd love to see what you create. Just link up
at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers so we can admire it!

Thanks for visiting. Now go forth and get your craft on!

  4. Great job. I just looked at my old sew easy tool the other day. It's in the basement with spare stuff that I don't use often. Love the purple and the image.

  5. Cool mixed media card! I thought your sewing looked fine! Yes, I remember that tool, but I'm so cheap I just punched my own homes with a needle... But I did buy some of the twine sold by that brand because at that time (2010ish?) It wasn't easy to find colorful baker's twine! Lol
