Hello and welcome snarky peeps! I'm back from vacation and perhaps now I'll be able to catch up on commenting. (wink wink) As Edna is showing us in the awesome graphic above, our new challenge at the Sisterhood is to use the Resist Technique on your card or project. There are a boat load of video tutorials out there on Mr. Google, so if you haven't tried this before, never fear, just Google it! LOL!

No snark on this card. It's all warm and toasty feely. I heat embossed the pine bough in white EP, then sponged Pine Needles DI over it, making it darker around the image. Then I smooshed Iced Spruce DI on my craft mat, spritzed with water, and flicked that on the panel with a paint brush.

Nope, no snark, but this is beautiful! I really like that sketch you used. The big circle piece behind the embossed panel is so eye catching. Love the warm natural feel to your papers and design, too. And your emboss resist pine is wonderful!

There is lots to look at on your card, but my eye is drawn to the white branch on the gorgeous background. It seems to add a touch of winter, perfect for my neck of the woods, as being in Sydney, we have another month of cooler temperatures before it warms up in spring.
