JUST US GIRLS #305 - Trend Week!

Good morning all! Sue is your hostess this week at JUST US GIRLS, and for Trend Week, she's picked VELLUM! You know you have some of that in your crafty arsenal - time to have some fun with it! Here's the card I made:

I started with a few different colors of distress ink, and made the background panel, adding water splotches (which to me gave this a bokeh look!) and then a light spritz with pearl Glimmer Mist.

Oooh! Shimmery!!

For the overlay, I used a just purchased snowflake frame from Memory Box. I die cut it twice, from white card stock and from vellum. I carefully cut the snowflake off the card stock using an X-Acto knife, then glued the vellum frame over it, tacking them down randomly using glossy accents. Added some rhinestones and called it done!
