I will be giving this to my hubby for our 23rd Anniversary, which is on the 25th this month. 23 years! And we still like each other! LOL!
I tried a new-to-me technique, which is the cloud background. I made my own cloud template too:
I dug through my pile of discarded die cuts (that I couldn't throw away, since I knew I'd use them some day), found a few with scalloped/curvy edges and glued together to make my template. It works, people! I stamped the castle first, then stamped it again on scrap and fussy cut it to use as a mask before inking my clouds. I used the curvy die from the PS Borders 1 set to cut my hill out, and also the royal icons dies and stamps. Some coloring with my SN markers, some Stickles on the dress and crown, a computer generated inside sentiment, and wa-la! Done!

Haha adorable! Makes me smile! And seriously creative cloud making skills here! I would never think to make a cloud stencil from those layered die cuts.....Wow!

ReplyDelete23 years and you still like each other? He drinks wine too, right? :D In this day & age it's quite an achievement to make it that far - we're going to hit 18 this year...we're getting awfully close to half my life :)
