Joyful - DDWS#14, MM#101

Hello and happy Tuesday! I made this card Sunday evening, but of course missed the Merry Monday #101 cut off. Oh well, at least I have another Christmas card made. ☺ I used DD Wanna Sketch #14 for this card also:

Here's the inside:

Lately it seems I've been trying my hand at new (to me) things. On my card, I tried the die cut inlay technique-y thing. I gotta say, I really like how that turned out! The hardest part was trying not to sneeze after die cutting out the word, so those itty bitty innards wouldn't scatter everywhere! LOL! Anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking with it!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!

  1. Super card, I should be trying these Christmas challenges to get a head start on my cards.

  2. Expert inlay work, Chrispy!! Please do not try that during allergy season! Also, I hereby appoint you for my cabinet. My liquor cabinet, that is. The world might be a better place if Presidents had Liquor Cabinets instead of the (bleep) Cabinets they have now and have had when they have had them! See you at tonight's meeting. Hugs, Darnell

  3. Dang! So bummed this didn't end up in the running for Merry Monday, it's great! I love me some inlay-die-cutty-thingies... although wrangling them innards can be a total pain in the arse, lol! Totally worth it, though

  4. Nice card! I didn't get around to getting this MM card done either. It's still in pieces on my desk so you are ahead of me. Sneezes and die cut pieces are definitely something to be leery of, but for me it is more the random twitches I'm afraid of. Things go flying!

  5. Inlaid die-cutty things :) I've got to try that - I bought a die specifically to try it & still haven't done it. I'll be sure to wrap my face tightly so that I can avoid breathing on the bitty bits!
