Happy Saturday everyone! Today starts Challenge #125: Up, at Drunken Stampers!
As you may know, this term is all about the movies! Make a project based on the movie title, or the theme, in this case: balloons. Or you can really challenge yourself and incorporate BOTH! Ha ha! I Double Dog Dare ya! LOL! This week is Team Midnight Margaritas turn to play. Here is what I came up with:
and the inside:
I just lurves to WOW ya's with my inside sentiments! LOL! The house stamp I used is actually a cuckoo clock! Shut the front door! For reals?! Yepper! I masked out the dangling thingys and the clock face and, for lack of a better phrase, the cuckoo hole. LOL! (I'm all about the technical terminology here at Chrispy's Creations...NOT!) Except for the blue polka dot panel and the inside panel, it was all about using scraps on this card! Yay! I stamped, colored and fussy cut the 'house'. Used some yellow and white card stock scraps for the door and window and drew the door knob and window panes. (Yes, I know the vertical line in the window is off center. But who wants to be perfect anyway? HA!) The balloons are stamped on more scrap, then I cut some different colors of twine and stuck them on the backs with glue dots. Both the house and balloons are popped up with foam squares. Added the die cut grass, stamped 'moving?', and finished the inside with the perfect sentiment! And there you have it!
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out what the other members of Team Midnight Margaritas came up with! I hope you get some time this week to play along with the Up challenge at Drunken Stampers!
