SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #215 - M is for Masculine

 ETA:
Hello and welcome friends.
Before we get to the challenge, some devastating news.
It's with an incredibly heavy heart that I let you know of the
passing of our friend and Sister Lindsey earlier this week.
She was an amazing woman, friend, and one heck of a master
at the CAS card, not to mention having a fabulous snarky sense of humor.
The world lost a great woman, but I know Heaven has gained an
amazing angel. She will be so very missed.

A TINY CRAFT (ATC) JULY CHALLENGE - Dogs or Cats

 Hello and welcome!
The new monthly challenge starts today at
This month's theme is Dogs or Cats.
Artist trading cards or coins are welcome.
Here's what I created:

I had this idea stuck in my head to use these fun Katzelkraft dog stamps
and make them look like they were standing under the mistletoe,
waiting to be kissed. LOL! Since the paper I used was very busy,
I decided to just stamp the dogs and mistletoe and leave uncolored.
I could have sworn I had some small Santa hat stickers in
my stash, but couldn't find them. I did find these fun
winter hats and antler stickers, which were even better!
I just printed out the sentiments, and colored the
paper with different Spectrum Noir markers before adhering
to my ATC's.
Here are some close ups:

These were so much fun to make! I hope that you'll
join us for our Dogs or Cats challenge this month at

Hi all! Just wanted to pop in to let you know that I will have two
card kits available for purchase tomorrow at Photo Scraps in
Eldersburg, Maryland!
Here are the cards I've made:

The brick layer uses a stencil from My Favorite Things, along
with the showstopper mug of beer. I've used a
DecoArt Snow Writer to create the foam. So fun!
That background paper is custom paper by Tracy. She has created
some amazing papers for sale in the store. Go see for yourself!

Everything is stamped, ink blended, and cut to size. All you
have to do is assemble yourself using your
choice of adhesives.
This is a very versatile card. You can use it for a birthday,
congratulations, Father's Day. It's all up to you!

Here's my second card:

Christmas in...June?

Hey all, I'm back with my second post today.
I'll make this quick since one of the challenges I want to
join in on is about to end. ;)
Here's a guy card using a new to me technique:

Here's the inside:

The technique is called Triple Time Stamping. First time I've tried this,
and I plan to make more cards using it. I've followed the tutorial
from this video, just making slight adjustments to the layer dimensions to
fit my card. I also made it much easier by using one big stamp. Another
bonus was that I already had the sentiment strip embossed and
ready to use. Yay me!

Got to go enter this now before time's up.
Thanks for visiting! Have a great day!

I'm entering this card at:

Supplies:
Stamps: Impression Obsession - Winter Scene 2; Taylored Expression - Simple Strips Christmas; Sunny Studio - Petite Poinsettias
Ink: Memento - Northern Pine; Versamark
CS: Thunderbolt; Neenah; Cardstock Warehouse
Accessories: MISTI; Stampendous - Champagne EP; heat gun; GC; TE- simple strips die
Adhesives: SA by 3L - tape runner, 3D & thin 3D foam squares; Scor Tape

Riding by to wish you a Happy Birthday

 Hello and welcome!
My blog has been somewhat silent last month, other than
for scheduled design team posts. May is a busy month
for us. Plus we just got back from our beach vacation,
(I want to go back!!!)  It's actually hotter here now
than it was last week on the beach in NC. Go figure.

Anyhoo, I took a break yesterday from the 'after vacation things to do'
and made a couple cards. Here's the first one:

Here's the inside:

I started with the card base and blended teal ink using the Clustered Hearts stencil.
The bicycle image was stamped and then I did a bit of masking for the basket,
using a planter pot from the Succulently stamp set. Once everything was
colored and adhered, I added some ancient tiny flower stickers to the basket,
and a few enamel dots to finish.

I love the fun, summery vibe of this card. :)
That's all for now. Have more laundry to wash.
Geesh, if there's one thing that infinite, it's laundry! LOL!
Thanks for visiting. Have a great day!

I'm entering this card at:

Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations - Bicycle Lg digi stamp, Succulently, A Snarky Birthday to You; Hero Arts - Let's Celebrate
Ink: Memento - Tuxedo Black, Teal Zeal
DP: DCWV - The Summer Magic Stack
CS: Spectrum Noir, Taylored Expressions; scrap
Accessories: Spectrum Noir markers; MISTI; Sandylion - flower stickers; ARTplorations - Clustered Hearts stencil; TE - blending brush; MME - enamel dots
