Hello and happy Tuesday!

punches and/or dies on your projects!

I was gifted with these super cute poop emoji dies from my
teammie and snarky sister, Donna, so instead of hoarding them,
as is my M.O., I actually used one!
Then I went ahead and made another card, using another of the poop emoji dies:

(By now you are either grossed out, or laughing your butt off.)
I hope the latter, but if the former, well, you just never
know what I might post on here. Heh heh.

I hope that you come and join the fun at Shopping Our Stash this week! Need more
inspiration? Then please check out what my teammates created for your viewing pleasure!

JUST US GIRLS #388 Trend Week

Hello and welcome crafty friends!
It's Trend Week at JUST US GIRLS, and Sue has picked the popular trend -
Multi-Step Stamping!

Here's my take on the challenge:

and the inside:

When I first saw this multi layering peacock stamp set that Hero Arts released earlier this year,
I knew that it would be coming home to live with me. I just love this stamp! They do
have a 4 pack ink cube set to go along with this set, but of course I don't have it. (not for
lack of trying. It seems to be out of stock everywhere I checked.) So
I just used inks I already had, and I don't think it turned out too bad. ☺
On the card base, I used one of the feather stamps from the set and stamped it randomly, then heat embossed it using some holographic embossing powder that
Lindsey gifted me. (thanks again!)

So, have you caved and bought one of the many new layering stamps that
seem to have exploded onto the craft scene? Now's your chance to ink them
up and make something pretty! Just link up at Just Us Girls so we can
admire it. Need more inspiration? Well then, please go and visit the blogs of
my teammies, and our guest designer Laurie Unger to see what they created.

Remember, if you are picked as Chic of the Week for any of our April challenges,
you'll be in the running to be our Guest Designer for the month of June!
Have fun and thanks for visiting!

Hello crafty peeps and welcome!
I'm so happy to say that Shery, owner of  STAMPlorations,
has asked me back as a Guest Designer for the Theme & Sketch challenge
for another month! Woo Hoo!!

Here are the Theme & Sketch for April:

As always, you can use just the theme, just the sketch, or both!

intricate top layer!! I heat embossed in black the word happy from the Blossom Overture stamp set. The Birthday word die was cut 3 times and stacked. On the inside of my card, I used a
sentiment from the Fond Expressions 2 stamp set.

Now it's your turn to make something fun with wings and link up at the

STAMPlorations Things with Wings Blog Hop & Linky Party!!

Hello and welcome friends!
Today starts the

Enter your project and comment along the way for a chance
at winning some great prizes!

Here is the card I made:

I'm not sure what it is, but lately I've been on a rainbow kick, and this card is
no exception. I stamped and heat embossed the Flutter Zen Row Artsy Border stamp
then used my Magenta Nuance powder dyes to water color the splashy rainbow around it. I
splattered watered down gold ink after that, and once that dried, I heat embossed one of the sentiments from the Trendy Butterflies 2 stamp set.

Ready to make something with wings? Of course you are! Just be sure
to link up at STAMPlorations for a chance at winning some fun prizes!

Thanks for visiting!

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #81- S is for Silly

Welcome snarky peeps! We have a new challenge starting today at the
SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS!
Your letter for this fortnight is S for Silly!
That could mean an April Fools card, using a funny or punny sentiment/image, or
whatever snarky idea you can dream up.

Here's my take on the challenge:

In real life, this card is much more vibrant, but with my crack photography
skillz, it looks kinda washed out. Ugh.
I used NBUS for the main panel, mainly some Dylusions spray inks. I used a stencil over that
and spritzed water, waited a few seconds and blotted up. You can just barely see it if you turn your head sideways and squint out of your left eye. Over that, another stencil, this time spritzing one of the Dylusions inks already used. I sponged black soot DI around the edges. heat embossed the sentiment,  and added the frame and Einstein. I felt it still needed more, so I broke out some grungy stamps and added some here and there.
I can totally see Einstein saying Whassup? like in that beer commercial some years back. LOL!

Now's your turn to create something silly and link up at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!
Be sure to check out what my Sisters in Snark dreamed up, and also our
Queen and Guest Designer, Margo!

Have a great day!

JUST US GIRLS #387 - Word Week

Good morning and welcome crafty peeps! I'm back from my little vacation.
(I know, you didn't even know I left! LOL!) I flew back to Illinois for a week
to hand deliver the bridal shower invites I made for my niece, and to visit
with family and friends. I was constantly on the go, didn't sleep too well, and
as a result, came down with a sinus infection. Let me tell ya, flying with
one of those is no fun at all. I'm grateful for Urgent Care and the
 amoxicillin that I was prescribed.

So let's get on with why you're really here: the Word Week challenge at
Nancy is hosting this week, and she's apparently ready for summer, (aren't we all?!) as she's
picked the word "SEA" as your inspiration.
Here's my take on it:

I haven't played with my Paper Smooches stamps and dies in a while, so I thought I'd make
a little underwater scene with some fish and that cool die. It reminds me of water bubbles.

Now it's your turn! I hope that you link up at Just Us Girls with your sea themed card or project. I'd love to see what you made! For more ideas, please check out what the Design Team came up with. I'd also like to welcome our new Guest Designer, Laurie Unger, who will be crafting with the JUGS Crew this month!

Thanks for visiting. Have a great day!

adding pinterest script 3. Changing the Position of the Pin it! button The cool thing about this code is that you have some freedom over where the Pinterest button for Blogger will go over the image. Take a look at the code that you just copied and pasted into the HTML for the word 'center'.
