Hello hello!
Welcome back snarky peeps! It's time for the new challenge at the
This fortnight, it's all about Gel Printing!
I searched through some prints I made over the years and
decided to use this blue one for a masculine birthday card:

and the inside. Forgive my hand modeling, the card didn't
want to stay flat.

Gotta love a great snarky sentiment!  LOL! I stamped the balloons
twice, once onto gray card stock, then again on a scrap of this
funky gray DP that had a nested squares design on it. By angling how
I stamped the balloon image I was able to get a different design on each balloon.
I just fussy cut the bunch and glued it onto the gray card. Cool beans!

I hope that you'll join Edna, my sisters, and our reigning Queen,
Fran, in our Gel Printing challenge! I look forward to seeing
your projects linked up at the

A birthday mix of old and NBUS

 Hello crafty friends and welcome!
It seems like it's been a long time since I've posted anything,
so I'm changing that right now. :)
Here's a card I've made using a mix of older
and new stash:

and the inside:

Like probably most of you, I took advantage of one of the
gazillion sales at the end of last year/beginning of this year.
My NBUS is the layered flower dies from Altenew.
(I may have pulled a 'Jennifer McGuire' and made
a bunch of these)

After a few days of cutting and slowly gluing these
together, I needed another day or so for my eyesight
to readjust. LOL!
I love a little bit of snark on the inside of a card,
so, this sentiment was perfect.
(This will be sent to my best friend, who's birthday
is coming up!)

We survived the current storm, with a couple inches of snow
which turned into a rain/sleet mix. Happy times. Not.
I can't wait until warmer weather shows up.

That's it for now. More cards to make!
Thanks for visiting!

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #201 - I is for Ink

Hello and welcome snarky peeps! Holy Crap, it's 2022!
It's also time for the new challenges to start up at the
For this first challenge of the new year, we want to see
your inky creations! Speaking of inky, Sister Lee has
done it yet again with this glorious colorful graphic!

For my card, I used Dylusions ink sprays on the background
panel, plus alcohol ink markers to color the cake image:

This was a labor of love. In the below picture, the original
cake image is shown, along with a bunch of stamped and fussy cut
candles that I added. Once I had everything stuck down, I gave
the flames a coating of Crystal Stickles for a bit of sparkle.

I continued the snark on the inside of my card:

Guess what? I decided to make TWO cards! Yay me!

I hope that you'll join Edna and the Sisters and play along in our
Ink challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!

Getting a head start on Christmas cards

 Happy Fri-Yay crafty friends!
I'm just popping in with a card or two that I made yesterday.

Here's the inside:

I know, it's kind of CAS for me. This was my second attempt at
creating this card. I originally used a circle die and I didn't like
how it looked at all. Then I thought, what about snowflake dies?
Major lightbulb moment. LOL!
For reference, here's the first card:

See what I mean? But now I have two Christmas cards made,
so there's that. :)
Both sentiments were stamped in purple ink to complete the
rainbow. Thankfully, I had enough R stickers to complete
the second card!

Well, since we were "gifted" with another 5" of snow overnight,
guess I'll just stay put and make some more cards. :)

Thanks for visiting!

STAMPlorations January Theme and Photo Prompt Challenge

Happy New Year to you all!
I hope that your holidays were filled with love and laughter.

It's time again for the newest Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge
Use the theme, or the photo, or combine both.
My card was created using the photo for inspiration:

I loved all the fun colors of the cereal, so I drew from that.
I found this great balloon paper in my stash for the background.
(Which has both the star and heart shaped balloons in the design!)
Once I had it adhered to the card base, I started to tackle all the
die cutting. The Birthday Wishes die was cut three times, stacked and
glued together. For both the Shaker Balloons #1 Heart and
Shaker Balloons #2 Star dies, the solid die was cut once from the pink card and
once from acetate. Now for the outline dies, I cut those at least 9 times for each,
stacked and glued them. I added sequins from the
Color Confetti ShakerBlends before adhering the solid shape to it, then
adhering everything to the card base.

I hope that you find some time this month to play along in the
I'm looking forward to seeing how you interpret the theme and/or photo.

created to inspire you!
