SOSS # 174 - E is for Elves

 Hello and welcome, snarky peeps!

It's time for our new challenge at the

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS!

This fortnight is brought to you by the letter E,

as in ELVES! Yep, let's see an elf or more on your projects!

Here's what I came up with:

I went through all my rubber stamps and sadly, didn't find any

elves. Whaaaa??!!! Luckily, I looked through my stash of

digital stamps, and found one I could use. I colored this

festive elf using Spectrum Noir markers and Prismacolor pencils.

The fur on his hat received a coating of white blizzard

Nuvo Glitter Drops. And of course, I found the perfect

sentiment to go with this guy. A simple sentiment

finishes the inside.

I hope that you can join us this fortnight at the

for our Elf challenge! As always, snark is not mandatory,

but you know we love it! LOL! For more ideas,

simply check out what my Sistahs and our reigning Queen, Natalie, have

created. Thanks for stopping by!

Something cool is happening at Photo Scraps tomorrow...

 Hey all!

Just popping in to let you know that tomorrow

at Photo Scraps, three card kits that I've created

will be available for purchase!

Here's what will be for sale:

First up, this card is all about the big sentiment. It seems

pretty CAS, but I've blended a darker blue ink around the

edges so that the sentiment looks like it's glowing!

My second card features a fun poinsettia die.

I added some Stickles to the flower center, but that's

totally optional.

Last is this deer card. Who doesn't love a plaid deer?!!

Everything is trimmed/die cut/stamped/embossed for you.

All you need is your favorite adhesives of choice!

If your in the MD/VA/PA/DC area, why not make a

trip to pick up some card kits, and support a

wonderful small business at the same time?!!

Thanks for visiting. Have a great evening!

SHOPPING OUR STASH #434 - Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Hello friends and welcome!

The new challenge starts today at

SHOPPING OUR STASH,

and as I'm sure you've guessed, we would like to see

snow in some form on your projects!

Here's what I came up with:

and the inside:

I bought this gorgeous snowflake tree stamp at least a year ago, and

I'm only inking it up now. (For Shame!)

I first stamped and heat embossed it in white EP. Then I sprinkled

Magenta Nuance powder dyes in Cerulean Blue and Purple and

used a water mister on it. The hardest part is setting it aside to dry

on it's own. Once it was, I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed

it in white also. To ground the tree, I simply drew some 'land' with a white Gelly Roll pen.

Since I had the items out, I made another panel!

This one uses Violet and Raspberry powder inks:

and the inside:

I hope that you can find time to play along this fortnight in our

snow challenge at Shopping Our Stash!

For more ideas, do check out what my teammies created

for your viewing pleasure. Thanks for visiting.

I hope that you have a great day!

Happy Ho Ho Holidays

Hello and happy Saturday to you!

I've been in Christmas card making mode all week, and

want to share one of them:

I used the Taylored Expressions Nordic Holiday embossing folder for

the main panel. After embossing, I smooshed some gold

ink on my craft mat, loaded up my brayer, and

rolled over the design. I repeated that two more times so that

the gold ink showed up really good. Santa and Mrs. Claus

were stamped, colored and die cut, then given a coating of

Nuvo glitter drops in White Blizzard here and there.

 The sentiment has the same

gold glitter paper matte as the main panel.

Another sentiment finishes the inside.

One more Christmas card done. A gazillion more to go.

Thanks for visiting, have a great day!
