Hues of color...

Good morning crafty peeps!
I hope that those who are celebrating this Labor Day
weekend are having fun (while maintaining your
social distancing, of course. 😉)

I'm popping in with a card I made for a brand spanking new
challenge - Color Hues #1!

These are the colors to use:

As some of the design team had, I also thought 'sunflowers'
immediately when the hues were revealed.
Here's what I came up with:

and the inside:

I gathered my much neglected Distress Inks in all the greens and yellows I had,
then took an agonizingly long time trying to figure out which colors to
use for these color layering stamps. Once I had that hurdle behind me,
I set about stamping the NBUS flowers and leaves.

I chose kraft for my card base and also cut out a herringbone die
for some added texture. The 'Happy' die cut and birthday sentiment
are from the same stamp & die set, (also NBUS).

The centers of the sunflowers got Winked, then I added a smattering
of rhinestones for some extra shiny bling.

Congrats to Nancy for starting up this fun new challenge! I'll definitely
be playing in future challenges!

That's all for now. It's a glorious day out,
and I want to be out in it. 😎
Thanks for visiting, and I hope you have a great day!

adding pinterest script 3. Changing the Position of the Pin it! button The cool thing about this code is that you have some freedom over where the Pinterest button for Blogger will go over the image. Take a look at the code that you just copied and pasted into the HTML for the word 'center'.
