SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #167 - O is for Ocean

Hello snarky peeps! It's time again for another challenge at the
This fortnight it's all about the OCEAN!
One of my favorite places, the ocean, so I was inspired
to paint an underwater scene on canvas:

Get your favorite beverage, here come the process pics:
Started by doodling a mermaid then re-drawing onto my canvas.
Everything is painted except the added metallic markers
doodled on the fish, lashes and the Stickles/Nuvo Glitter Drops:

I added dots and highlights to her body/tail using green metallic paint:

At this point, I forgot to continue to take process pictures. LOL!
I added rose gold metallic highlights to her hair, stenciled the
fish, used white paint to add the sentiment, doodled the fish with
metallic markers, added Stardust Stickles to her top and Nuvo Glitter
Drops for the air bubbles. There is two coats of DuraClear satin varnish
to seal my painting.

This came out so much better than I thought it would.
(even though the lettering is on a slight slant. Not
too shabby, considering I totally free styled it. LOL!)

One thing that I added a week or two after making this
(last month) was this tiny flower sticker to her hair.

Not so much snark on this, but perhaps a bit of sass!
I hope that you'll join us for our Ocean challenge at the
Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! I look forward to seeing
your make on this in our gallery. For more fun ideas, simply
visit the blogs of my Sisters to see what they came up with,
and leave some commenting love while there. :)
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!
