SHOPPING OUR STASH #241 April Showers Bring May Flowers

Well hello and welcome! This week at SHOPPING OUR STASH, I'm your hostess and want you to use umbrellas, rain, or flowers, OR make a baby/wedding shower card or project! See, we give you LOTS of options!! Here's the card I made:

 here's the inside:

For my card, I focused on rain....which led me to rainbows, and the perfect quote to go with it. I used scraps of card stock to die cut my rainbow. Used die cuts and stamps that were fussy cut for the clouds, and a raindrop stamp that I first stamped then second hand stamped. Worked for me! The inside sentiment was computer generated, and worked perfectly with my rainy scene.

I do hope you find the chance to play along this week at Shopping Our Stash! Please be sure to check out the amazeballs creations that my teammies created for your viewing pleasure, and leave them some bloggy love! Thanks for visiting, now go and get your craft on!!

  3. Anytime somebody can add a sparkly rainbow AND a Dolly Parton quote to a card, I'm gonna be impressed. So color me impressed. Just got done reading through your sabbatical update. I can only imagine how tough it must be to see your parents grow old - especially your Pop. Sending lots of good thoughts and hugs across the interwebs.

  6. That is such a great quote, and such a great card design! I love your mix of clouds with the different shapes and the combo of grey and white. And your glittery rainbow and two-tone raindrops are fabulous! Really fun card, Chris!
