THE HOP TO STOP DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

My blog friend, Becca Cruger, of the DAMSEL OF DISTRESSED blog, is the creative genius who has spearheaded The Hop To Stop! October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. To quote Becca, "the hop is designed to help raise awareness of domestic violence, an issue that impacts 1 in 3 women, and the resources that are available to assist victims of domestic violence."

If you'd like to find out more information, and the resources that are available, please check out the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence

A bit about the blog hop: The link up starts today and will close on October 14th. If you'd like to participate, you can make anything you want, (card, layout, mix media project, etc.) as long as it features the color PURPLE. (Domestic Violence Awareness color) The link up is at THE DAMSEL OF DISTRESSED blog. Winners will be announced on October 17th.

Wait.

Whaaaa?????!!!! Winners? There are prizes?

Why yes, there ARE prizes! Becca, in her rockstardominess, (is that a word? It is now!), has accrued a boat load of sponsors that have generously donated prizes!!

Get a load of them apples!!! Holy Cow! All you need to do is make a new project (no back linking), display the sponsor graphic, and comment on the three entries before yours. (Spread the bloggy love!) Now, on to my card:

I found that dreamy patterned paper in my stash and pulled different shades of purple from it.Except for the stamps and die cut, everything used on this card has been in my stash for at least a year. Yay me! LOL! My card is based on the current sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches #320

Thank you, Becca, for inviting me to participate in this amazing hop! You Rock!!!

I'm off to check out the amazing creations of everyone! Have a great day all!!
