Love me some wreaths!

Good morning peeps! It's Friday!! Yay! If you are living in the United States and Canada, happy Labor Day! I'm sure you are gearing up for a long weekend! (and the unofficial end of Summer - but not according to the 7 day weather report I just saw - HOT!) Now there's a good segway for my card - a winter wreath! LOL!

Here's the inside:

As is my modus operandi, I'm getting this entered just under the wire at Merry Monday #123 - use a wreath, and the sketch from The Paper Players #210

I took a literal approach to my wreath by mimicking the MM inspiration pic. I just replaced the gold, silver, and red ornaments with rhinestones. ☺ I die cut the wreath twice from DP in two different shades of green. I knew I had these tiny bows somewhere, but I only found a pack of blue ones. Then of course, at the bottom of the box I found one off white bow. I could work with that. I dyed it red by dipping a paint brush into a bottle of Candy Apple Red Glimmer Mist and painting the bow. It dried darker than I thought it would, but I like it. I found a stamp that also looked like a wreath, so I used that on the inside.

You still have (barely enough) time to enter these challenges. Gotta go and do that now! LOL! Thanks for stopping by! Have a great Labor Day Weekend!

Chris
